This album is comprised of songs that I have written throughout the years. They are cries from my heart to God's, and a couple of them are cries from God's heart to mine! As you listen, hear the voice of Your jealous lover who gave up everything for a chance to romance you!

One reason that it is all acoustic and you do not hear any drums or bass guitars is because the message of the songs are so important I did not want anything to distract the listener from hearing it. It is said that when Da Vinci painted the 'Last Supper', he had a first edition which took him a long time. he asked a friend what he liked about the painting, and the first thing his friend responded, "I really love the Grail there! It is beautiful!" At that very moment, Da Vinci took a knife and cut the original to shreds. Upon seeing that, his friend asked him why he did that and Da Vinci replied, 'Because it took the focus off of Jesus'.

These songs are important, I believe, because they come from a time in my life when I was really searching for the truth. I grew up in church. I was 'god boy' to my friends. All I had ever known was God, but something inside did not jive with how I believed. I knew there was something more. Something that was not being taught. Starting with "You're My God", the journey was begun and I have never been the same. That is why it is just acoustic piano and guitar--so nothing will detract you from the heart of He who loves you!!
