This song is one that was birthed out of a want to help people understand the message that so revolutionized my life! Grace and Peace is the message of the New Testament - it is what made God get on the cross and die for us!

Grace: God's unmerited favor. There is nothing that you can do to make God love you more or make Him love you less. He just loves you. Scripture says that God is love. That doesn't meant that He loves, or that He has love...It means that love is His very character. It is part of His DNA. God loves you!

Peace: Cessation of againstness. God is not against you or I anymore. In fact, Scripture says in Romans 8: If God be for us who then can be against us? God is not against us anymore.

How would God be against us, you may ask. Easy.

Listen to the second verse again. Abortions, drugs, promiscuity, alcohol. All are reasons that I have heard for people not to come to God. They think that they have done things to terrible. They think they God can't forgive them for what they have done. The simple reality is that God can - and wants to!!! - forgive you! That is why God died!!! Just listen to the ending of the second verse: Then I see your arms open wide. You say, 'My child I know that's why I died'.

As you listen to this track, please get past your hang ups and you thoughts and reasons as to why you think you cannot come to God. Look at the the only picture of true love that we have and see arms spread open wide to receive you!
